The account of Joseph continues in the Sunday School lesson today.  Genesis 39 teaches us that the Lord was with Joseph so that His people could be saved.  The children will learn that Christ, a descendant of Joseph's brother, is with us in every situation, earning our salvation from sin when He died and rose again.  A family discussion could begin about temptations.  Joseph resisted the temptation to do wrong with Potiphar's wife but still suffered when she falsely accused him.  Joseph served in Potiphar's house just as we serve in our various vocations.  God was with Joseph, and in Christ, God is with us in all situations of life, providing, protecting, and forgiving.
