Today's Sunday School Lesson October 14, 2007

 The Sunday School lesson today began a series of lessons about Moses.  Today's lesson (Exodus 1:1-2:10 ) is about the birth of Moses.  The children will learn that God was with Moses, caring for him and protecting him.   God saved His people through Moses, who lead them out of slavery.  Where is Christ in this lesson?  God in Christ saves all people from the bondage of sin and death.  Family discussions might touch on how God loves and cares of us (First Article of the Creed) and how God delivers us from evil (Lord's Prayer, Seventh Petition).
