CHARTER
The charter of the Teach program is to guide, support and provide for the spiritual education of the children of Messiah Lutheran Church and to support an ongoing adult Bible study curriculum. This charter includes fostering Christian fellowship and providing a supportive environment that nurtures our children's and adult member's faith and provides a firm foundation as Christians and Lutherans.
A secondary objective of our Team program is to support outreach efforts by supporting community-based activities and providing spiritual education opportunities (Sunday School and Vacation Bible School) for children in the local community.
Our schedule for 2010-2011 is:
- Rally Day- September 12
- Advent Celebration- November 28
- Christmas Program- December 19
- Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast- April 24
- Teacher Appreciation/Promotion Sunday- May 22 (last day of sunday school)
The scope of the Teach Program at Messiah includes:
- Sunday School (grades K - 8)
- Vacation Bible School (Ages 3 - 12)
- Youth Group (grades 7 - 12)
- Adult Bible Study
- Catechism
There are a variety of opportunities to support the Teach program at Messiah.

- Sunday School superintendent

- Vacation Bible school volunteers
- Youth Group director
- Youth Group volunteers
